How to Install and set up Dragon NaturallySpeaking

What do I need to set up speech recognition software?
  1. Software - Dragon Professional Individual, V15 for Windows or V6 for Mac
  2. A suitable microphone
  3. A suitable computer
  4. Training

Technical support 
If you experience problems installing Dragon software, complimentary technical support is available from Nuance for 180 days after purchase, regardless of where you purchased your Dragon software. To access Nuance technical support, click here to create an account and register your software, or log in if you already have an account.  After logging in to your Nuance account and registering your software, click 'Ask a question'.  You should receive a response within 48 hours.

Upgrading to V13
You must have v11 or 12 installed on your computer before installing the upgrade for Dragon NaturallySpeaking 13. This is because the installer has to automatically detect the version that is installed to continue with the installation. Using the installation disk of the previous version to verify that it is a valid upgradable installation is no longer possible. If there is no previous upgradable version on the system, the Dragon 13 upgrade serial number will not be accepted by the installer.
If there is no previous version present on the system, and no ability to reinstall the previous version, please contact Nuance Technical Support.
