It sounds simple, but it's always a good idea to close Dragon and all other apps, then restart your computer.

Built-in commands for a particular application are not working

Recognition accuracy is poor

Are you speaking as clearly as you can?
Have you checked that the word or phrase you are using is in the vocabulary? Say "Edit Vocabulary " to check. Add the word or phrase to the vocabulary of it isnt there
Learn to use the tools to optimise recognition accuracy
Are you using a high-quality noise cancelling headset microphone?
Are bacjground noise levels high?
Does your computer have enough Ram?
Have you set up your user profile with the most appropriate accent model (under Region)?
Has your user profile corrupted?
Do you correrct Dragon's recognition errors?
